Co-Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

A real life Comprehensive Assessment being conducted with a patient who has been recommended for implant dentistry procedures by the patient's former dentist. Dr. Marinic assists the patient in learning how to read and interpret the scans generated by the Galileos Cone Beam scanner.

As the session progresses the patient learns, first hand, jawbone integrity issues in different areas of the jawbone. He also discovers that an area of historical jawbone pain is caused by a tooth root that was left in the mandible years before.

Bone grafting needs are also discovered and discussed. The 1 hour Comprehensive Consult was edited for content and time, resulting in a 5 minute video that provides a summary version of the learning experiences of participating in Dr. Marinic's "Co-Diagnosis" activities that involve the patient during the entire diagnostic and planning phases of treatment.
