About Our Practice
Dr. Daniel K. Marinic, DDS, FAGD
Experienced dentist with advanced training and education
Evanston dentist Daniel K. Marinic, D.D.S., F.I.C.O.I., has been in private practice in Evanston, Illinois since 1987. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in 1982, Dr. Marinic attended Loyola University School of Dentistry, and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987. He has been in private practice in Evanston ever since.
Since completing dental school, Dr. Marinic has focused his practice on cosmetic, advanced restorative, and implant dentistry. Over the years he has integrated technology into his practice to allow him to treat his patients using minimally invasive dentistry.
Dr. Marinic is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has completed hundreds of hours of advanced clinical training in dental implant surgical and design techniques, including a
maxicourse in Implantology at the New York University College of Dentistry; advanced bone grafting from the Map Implant Institute; and the LD Pankey Institute for Equilabration (balancing tooth placement and force).
Dr. Marinic has been recognized as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. This prestigious award is reserved for those few American dentists who have reached the profession's pinnacle in both training and experience.
With more than 500 hours of continuing education training in applied dental techniques and technology, including extensive training in implant and cosmetic dentistry, and over twenty–six years of providing quality dental care to thousands of patients, Dr. Marinic has been appropriately acknowledged by his peers as a leader, and an example to other dentists.
Innovator in Dental Technologies
In 1997, Dr. Marinic built his state of the art dental facility, which includes a central sterilization room and fully equipped laboratory for dental implants and guided implant surgery.
Always interested in finding better, less invasive, and more comfortable ways to help his patients, Dr. Marinic is well-known to both his peers and his patients as an innovator, continually seeking out the best new technologies for helping his patients, and then learning to use them well and wisely.
Dr. Marinic has made many key innovations in his practice, often pioneering new ideas and technology, and then setting a newer, higher standard of patient care for others to follow.
For example, Dr. Marinic is proud to have been:
• The first dentist to install a Galileo Cone Beam scanner in his private practice, a device which allows him to take a low-radiation, 3D CT scan of your mouth and jaw;
• One of the first dentists in Illinois to pioneer the use of CEREC "One Visit" dentistry, a system which allows him to give patients permanent crowns in a single office visit; and
• The first dentist in Illinois Certified to offer Nobel Biocare's guided implant dentistry technology.
Providing comfortable, knowledgeable and complete patient care
Dr. Marinic has made sure that each of our treatment room includes a chairside workstation, interactive Casey patient education system and an intra-oral camera with video capture ability.
There is also a central sterilization room and a fully equipped dental laboratory, so that Dr. Marinic can make any changes or adjustments necessary to be sure that your crowns, bridges, veneers or implants fit perfectly.
